Horrors of night

It’s 4AM. A deafening silence. A loud bang on the door. I abruptly woke up. Unsure whether it was a dream or not, I stayed in bed. The sound intensifies. I hastily rush up to open the door. There is no one. I saw one muddy footprint starting from a few feet away leading up to the door. It doesn’t resemble a human foot. It has three giant fingers. My throat choked up. I look around fearfully to catch a glimpse of this entity. But no one is around. The footprints seem to go in the left direction towards the garage. I grab a pipe lying nearby and walk towards the garage.

The door is wide open. I walk to the side of the car, walking past the scratches. I look all over but still no sign. I see one giant nail creeping out from the bottom of car, and slowly the monstrous creature slips out and stands in front of me as I wail and scream in horror. It’s a green five foot gorgoyle. In an instant as it leaps towards me, I immediately struck it with the pipe. It produces a moan, visibly angered, catches the pipe next time I try to hit it. It inches closer and raises his arm, I am split second away from dying a violent death. I close my eyes. A white light and I open my eyes but the gargoyle has turned into a stone as the first rays of sunlight sets in.
